San Luis Obispo, California (PressExposure) March 31, 2009 — Berserker Cycle Design has developed the worlds first full suspension recumbent tricycle made in the United States that incorporates a comfortable ergonomic seat combined with over 5″ of front wheel suspension travel, and 6″ of rear suspension travel. Our custom designed large ergonomic seat will allow everyone to enjoy cycling again.

Our Full suspension tricycle can be upgraded to an electric tricycle by having a Bionx electric assist package integrated at the factory. We offere both the 250W and 350W versions that both include lithium ion batterys, controllers, and throttle. Each will be custom fitted to your tricycle prior to shipment.

The Berserker Story:
After the founder Adam Stephens sustained a back injury while moutain biking he decided to develop a comfortable tricycle to allow him to continue to enjoy all-terrain cycling. Initially the project was for his personal use, but after a ground swell of interest he decided to take the concept to market. Adam partnered with a product development expert to redesign the tricycle for production and bring it to market.

Berserker^tm Cycle Design is hard at work developing the first specialized tricycle for those looking for comfortable cycling. Our specialized full suspension tricycle offers an ergonomically designed wide bottom seat with cushion and mesh cover for optimal comfort.

Our Founder Adam Stephens developed the concept for our tricycle because of an injury sustained during a mountain biking accident. His accident left him with severe back pain when riding regular bicycles. Adam found that a recumbent style seat gave him full back support, and adding a suspension reduced the impact of all terrain cycling, thus allowing him to continue to enjoy off road mountain biking with his newly developed specialized recumbent tricycle.
